General

In 1960s Glyfada, the cosmopolitan and vibrant Athenian coastal suburb, a new hotel called the Congo Palace opens its welcoming doors and immediately breathes new life into the tourism infrastructure of the area. Today, half a century later, the completely renovated, modern hotel continues its longstanding tradition of excellence in the provision of top quality services in the heart of the “Greek Riviera”, offering nothing short of a perfect stay, with an array of choices in both dining and entertainment, and a friendly, genuinely warm staff that will win you over with their professionalism.

The Congo Palace maintains seven different room categories to meet a variety of guest needs, while the 92 carefully laid-out and tastefully furnished rooms are equipped in accordance to the standards of a 4-star hotel. Bathed in golden Mediterranean light, the Congo Palace looks out towards the calm waters of the Saronic Gulf, and is just steps from the heart of downtown Glyfada, the once summer playground of the rich and famous, today a popular meeting spot with an endless assortment of shopping and entertainment options.

Lobby Bar

The perfect spot to start and end your day, the Lobby Bar at the Congo Palace Hotel exudes Africa. Airy and elegant, with furnishings and decorative elements from the “dark continent”, sunlit with earthy tones, the Lobby Bar is the ideal setting for guests to relax in and enjoy an energizing coffee or tea in the morning or a refreshing glass of wine at the end of the day.

During the summer months, the Lobby Bar opens up onto the hotel’s pool area, and provides a calming atmosphere for absolute relaxation and entertainment within a refreshing oasis in the center of Glyfada.

Pool Bar

With its pleasantly soothing layout designed to entertain and relax, the Congo Palace Hotel’s fully renovated pool area is a popular summertime meeting spot. Crystal clear blue water reflecting the candle lanterns that illuminate the pool area, woven rattan furnishings and fluffy pillows and cushions in earthy tones create a cozy atmosphere from morning till late into the evening. The Pool Bar offers cold and hot drinks, soft drinks and a wide range of alcoholic beverages within its tranquil environment, providing an opportunity to kick back and relax at any time of the day or evening.

“Boyoma Falls” Restaurant

The impressive Boyoma Falls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in central Africa were our inspiration for creating a restaurant/gastronomical meeting point in the very heart of Glyfada. Boyoma Falls, “dressed” in the colors and style of the African continent, offers a rich range of tastes from both Greek and international cuisines and maintains a uniquely interesting wine cellar, thus upgrading the dining experience in the best spot along the “Greek Riviera”. A quick meal, a long business dinner or an intimate tête-à-tête become that much more pleasant in this cozy, stylishly elegant restaurant that looks onto the hotel’s swimming pool.
