Lefkada island
Lefkada is the fourth largest island in the Ionian Sea. It is situated between Corfu and Kefalonia and lies very close to the southwest coast of Aitoloakarnania, from which it is separated by an artificial channel. The tour of the island begins from the bridge of Lefkas, which serves as the connection between Lefkada and the rest of Greece.
Activities
Lefkada is the perfect island for various outdoor activities and sightseeing, such as cruises to the Ionian islands, hiking in nature, visiting interesting local museums or monasteries, and the yearly Folk Literature and Art Festival. Also, Lefkada is famous for its strong winds, so visitors can practice the surfing (windsurfing and kite-surfing) during their holidays.
