Accommodation Terms and Conditions
1. Company
All bookings can be made through the niakas.com website, 24 hours, 7 days a week, using all major credit cards.
niakas.com is a commercial branch of Niaka Aliki & SIA OE based in Corfu, 3rd Par. El. Venizelou 4, ZIP 49100 with licence number 08.29.E.600.00055.401 issued by the Greek National Tourism Organization and the special distinctive title Niakas travel.
2. Acceptance of General Terms of Use
Use of this site means that you are above 18 years old and that you possess the legal right and ability to use it in accordance with the terms and conditions set herein. The present terms and conditions apply to all the services presented in our site and provided either directly or through distributors. By accessing, browsing and using our website and/or by proceeding with a reservation, you acknowledge having read understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).
3. Accommodation
Through its web site Niakas Travel gives the possibility to book on line a wide range of accommodations all over Greece as well additional travel services. The description of each accommodation has been prepared to the best of our knowledge and according to information given by the suppliers we cooperate with, in order to be as correct and reliable as possible.
Niakas Travel declines any responsibility in case of not correct information not depending from its will.
4. Rating
A wide range of accommodation is presented in our site. Official rating of each accommodation is shown in the description.
5. Room types
Single Room: Contains one single bed.
Double Room: Contains two single beds or one double bed and is suitable for either one or two people.
Triple Room: usually a double room with an extra bed in the form of a camp bed, rollaway bed.
Studios: one space room for 2 or more persons equipped with kitchenette.
Apartments: Formed by one, two or three bedrooms (according to the description) and a separate living room with kitchenette.
Suites: Unless otherwise stated in the hotel descriptions a junior suite typically comprises a larger room with a luxury area, whilst a suite has a separate bedroom and living room
6. Basis
RR: room rate. The price does not include any meal
BB: breakfast is provided in continental, riched or American style either served or buffet
HB: Breakfast and one warm meal per day (normally dinner)
FB: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price
AI: (All Inclusive) In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner coffee and cake or ice cream is served at specific times of the day. Drinks are normally local products. The All Inclusive content, drinks, meals (and times) can vary from hotel to hotel.
7. Arrival/Departure
Check-in time on arrival is usually at 14:00. In case of earlier arrival the room may not be ready and it will be necessary to wait for a while.
Checkout time on departure is usually at 11.00 unless differently specified at the apartment/hotel.
8. Damages / Complaints during stay
Guests are obliged to report any damages to indoor/outdoor furnishings and fittings to the reception, the hotel manager or house owner, and will be responsible for any eventual charges. Damages, which are not reported during the stay and for which the owner makes a claim will be later charged to the guest.
Any complaints must be reported to the manager of the hotel/apartment/villa before clients’ departure in order to be dealt with on the spot. Any complaints received after clients’ departure will not be considered.
9. Domestic Animals
Pets are not allowed in every accommodation. In cases, where there are exceptions, it is mentioned in the description. Non-compliance can lead to refusal of occupancy of the booked accommodation. Guests are personally responsible for obtaining regulations regarding the import of animals. Generally, pets are forbidden in swimming pools for hygienic reasons, and any damage caused by pets is to be reported immediately to the reception, the hotel manager or the house owner. Pet owners will be required to cover the costs of any damage caused. (See Damages)
10. Booking procedure, Confirmation, issue and dispatch of travel documents
Available accommodations are marked with a “Book” sign and can be booked by using all major credit cards as specified in the section “Payments”
For accommodations marked with a “on request” sign, an answer to your request will be sent within 48 hours.
When the selected accommodation is available an option of 2 -3 days will be given in order to finalize the booking within this period. Payment details as per section “Payments”
Reservation form has to be filled in with the necessary data and submitted.
Confirmation received from our reservation department must always be checked by the user in order to secure that
All the details (names, dates etc.) are correct. In case of any error occurs the user must inform Niakas Travel within 24 hours.
The total price includes all taxes, the booked meals as well as cleaning bed linen and towel change.
Once the purchased is completed and the full payment has been done travel documents (voucher) will be sent.
11. Payments
A. CREDIT CARDS – via ePOS Paycenter of PIRAEUS BANK OF GREECE
Now, with the ePOS Paycenter, for even faster and more secure transactions with a single click. For further security of electronic transactions through credit cards, they are made with the security system Epos of PIRAEUS Bank. Thus, during the purchase process by credit card, the customer is automatically transferred to a secure server (secure server) to the service of Winbank Paycenter PIRAEUS Bank.
All information transmitted electronically from the customer (credit card) to the service Winbank Paycenter the Bank of Piraeus, and their transfer from the bank to VISA or MasterCard are covered by the encryption algorithm SSL 128-bit Veri Sign, the most powerful encryption
existing today worldwide. In this case details of credit cards are not stored anywhere and are used only during checking and charging. So any transaction you make with a credit card is perfectly secure.
Niakas Travel does not collect or store in any way your credit card information and for this reason you need to register again each time you use your credit card for transactions through this site.
12. Cancellation Policy
Every property has cancellation policy specified at the time of booking.
12. Amendments
Amendments (new check-in/check-out date, different type of rooms, and different number of persons) of an already confirmed reservation are allowed, provided that there is availability for the new request.
– In case of modifications made up to 90 days before the start of rental, ussually no charges shall apply.
– Modifications made less than 90 days before the start of the rental, shall be handled on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Niakas travel.
The change of hotel will be considered as a cancellation of the original reservation and it is submitted to cancellation policy.
Extending Stay
If you wish to extend your stay we will do our best to try to assist you, but do keep in mind that, an extension is not always possible particularly during peak season.
Non-show: In case of No Show = No claim for refund can be accepted.
13. Rejection of the Transaction
Failure to pay or the unauthorized use of your credit card will involve cancellation of your reservation.
14. Privacy
We maintain high ethical standards and care diligently for the protection and confidentiality of your personal data. Niakas Travel does not collect or store in any way your credit card details. The payment procedure and the verification of your data through a bank assure the absolute safety of your transaction.
